Clatsop Care Center asks voters for $34 million to replace its century-old nursing home

Measure 4-249 would pay for a one-story nursing home on Olney Street in Astoria. Because an existing levy would end early, the district puts the net tax increase at about 14 cents per $1,000 of assessed value.
